How it works
From broken to booked in three steps
Built for owners who manage their own buildings and don't have an afternoon to burn on phone tag.
01
Post the job in 2 minutes
Type your address and ReLocal pulls your building and unit counts straight from NYC public records. Describe the problem, add a photo, send it out.
02
Compare real bids
Licensed, insured local pros bid on your job. See price, rating, and earliest start side by side — competition keeps every quote honest.
03
Approve, track, done
Message your pro, follow the job to completion, and pay in one place. Every repair lands in your building's maintenance history automatically.
For property owners
Your buildings, handled — without the phone tag
You own 4, 12, 40 units. A tenant texts about a leak at 9pm. Instead of calling three guys who may or may not call back, you post it once and wake up to bids.

Set up in minutes, not afternoons
Enter an address and unit counts populate automatically from NYC public records. No spreadsheets, no manual property setup.
Every pro is licensed, insured & vetted
Credentials checked before a contractor can bid on a single job. If nobody bids, ReLocal sources a pro personally.
Message, track & pay in one place
One dashboard for every job across every building — bids, messages, status, invoices, and a complete maintenance history log.
Tax time takes minutes
Expenses auto-categorize as jobs complete, and owner reporting is tax-ready at year end. Syncs with AppFolio & Buildium.
Why it pays for itself
Save the week. Save the markup.
Two numbers decide whether ReLocal is worth it. Both break in your favor fast.
1 week faster turnover
Time is rent money
An empty unit earns nothing. Fast bids instead of a week of callbacks means repairs start sooner and units re-rent sooner — cutting one week off a single turnover more than covers a full year of membership.
Competing bids on every job
Competition kills the markup
A single quote is a price you're told. Competing bids from vetted local pros are a price you choose. Owners see the spread on every job before committing a dollar.
For contractors
Steady local work. Keep 95% of every job.
ReLocal owners manage real buildings with recurring repair needs — the kind of clients who call again. Get alerted to jobs near you, bid in minutes, and get paid through the platform.
Job alerts that match your trade & turf
New jobs in your service area hit your phone the moment an owner posts. No lead auctions, no paying per click.
You keep 95% of every job
A 5% service fee comes out of each payout. You keep 95% of the job price. No hidden cuts, no surprise deductions.
A profile that sells your work
Verified Pro badge, ratings, and job history that owners actually see when they compare bids. Good work compounds.

What is ReLocal?+
ReLocal connects multifamily property owners with licensed, insured, vetted local contractors. Post a job, compare real bids, and track everything in one place.
How does it work for property owners?+
Post a job in about two minutes. Vetted pros bid on it, you compare the bids side by side, and you pick the winner. If no bids come in, we source one for you personally.
How does it work for contractors?+
Create a listing, get alerts for jobs in your trade, and bid. Pro adds priority placement and the Verified Pro badge; Business adds multi-crew team accounts and a dedicated account manager. A 5% service fee comes out of each payout. You keep 95% of the job price.
How does ReLocal save me time?+
No phone tag, no chasing quotes. Post once and bids come to you. Typing your address pulls your unit counts straight from NYC public records, so there's no counting or guesswork.
How does it save me money?+
Competing bids keep pricing honest. Cutting even one week off a turnover more than covers a year of membership.
Are the contractors actually vetted?+
Yes. Licensed, insured, and verified before they can bid on your jobs.
What does it cost?+
Owner plans run $39.99 to $160 a month depending on how many units you manage, with annual billing saving two months. Owners pay no service fee: you pay the contractor's bid price. Contractor plans run $39 to $160 a month.
What is the Founding 25 offer?+
The first 25 members to sign up, owners or contractors, get 3 months free on any plan. When the 25 spots are gone, they're gone.
What is the cancellation policy?+
Cancel anytime. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period — no partial-month refunds. Annual plans: no refunds after the first 30 days.
When do contractors get paid?+
The owner pays the full price through ReLocal up front. Half goes to the contractor as soon as the payment clears; ReLocal holds the other half until the job is finished. When the contractor marks the job finished, the owner has 3 days to confirm or report a problem. If they do neither, the held half is released automatically. Payouts go through Stripe and usually reach the contractor's bank within 2 business days.
What if the job turns out bigger than expected?+
It happens — some problems are hidden inside walls or under floors until work starts. The contractor sends a change order through ReLocal with what they found and the extra price. Nothing extra is done until the owner approves it and pays through ReLocal, where it's held with the rest of the job until it's finished. Approved changes not paid within 3 days are charged to the card or bank account the owner used for the job. Every change and payment stays on the job's record, so both accounts have a full history.
